OUR TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL PROGRAM
You can complete our CDL training in as little as four weeks. Our program includes a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on learning. This helps prepare you for both portions of the CDL exam: the written and skills tests. In addition to covering material for the CDL exam, our program will give you valuable skills that will continue to benefit you throughout your career.

Phoenix Truck Driving School’s program meets all necessary
entry-level driver training (ELDT) requirements.

WRITTEN CDL EXAM

During the first portion of your training, you’ll be preparing for the written CDL exam, which tests your knowledge of how to safely operate a semi-truck. You’ll need to pass the general knowledge test, among others, in order to earn your commercial learner’s permit (CLP).

In addition, our program includes three endorsements: hazardous materials (hazmat), tanker, and doubles/triples. These can expand the opportunities that are available to you over the course of your trucking career

HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE

Once you’ve passed the written CDL test and have your CLP, you’ll transition into hands-on training. This portion of the program prepares you for the CDL skills test and includes supervised driving time in a real semi-truck, not a simulator. Additionally, you’ll learn how to perform a pre-trip inspection.
